CHAUFFEUR SERVICE NEWS RELEASE - Corporate Paris Partnership
thebookingroom, the innovative powerhouse of the global ground transportation industry, has announced a strategic partnership in France to work alongside its UK and US offices.
The company, in operation since 1992, has joined forces with Corporate Paris and will be operating in France as thebookingroom from January 1st 2010.
Corporate Paris is one of the leading chauffeur drive companies in France, with offices in Paris, Lyon and Cannes, providing service across all business destinations in the country.
As France is one of the largest chauffeur drive service markets outside the US and UK, this dynamic new partnership represents a step forward for both companies and the industry as a whole.
'thebookingroom is one of the leading brands in the global chauffeur market, so naturally we are delighted to become associated with the brand, and begin what will undoubtedly be a very successful partnership' says Eric Mareau, MD of Corporate Paris.
'thebookingroom initially focused on ground transportation for global financial roadshow customers. However, through listening to their client's and by using first-hand expertise, thebookingroom built a highly trained team and a revolutionary reservation and control system and as a result now provides first-class bespoke solutions for many sectors of the ground transportation industry.'
'We also share the same customer service-led business approach, so this partnership will be beneficial for both companies and all of our customers', Mareau adds.
'We have ambitious global expansion plans for thebookingroom in the years ahead of us, the French partnership agreement being a major part of the strategy,' said Michael O'Hare, thebookingroom's founder and CEO.
'The company's marketing focus in the French market is primarily on corporations, travel specialists, incentive agencies and events or communication agencies. With a focus on individual and group transportation solutions, thebookingroom develops a truely unique service both in France and abroad, where a global service offering has been almost non-existent until now', said Willemar Conijn, Director of Business Development of thebookingroom.
Today thebookingroom provides chauffeur services in over 300 destinations worldwide through Service Level Agreements with a select global affiliate network. The new partnership is in line with the company's global expansion strategy, which will also see an office opening in Asia in early 2010.
